• User Interactions: Text prompts, voice recordings, shared images, and custom instructions sent to Kashish.
• Personalization & Memory: Facts, preferences, and details you share during conversations, which may be stored in your account profile to provide continuity across sessions.
• Device & Usage Data: Technical logs, including IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and session timestamps, collected automatically to maintain system security and uptime.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• To operate, maintain, and provide the features of Kashish AI (chat, voice interaction, image generation, and developer tools).
• To retain conversational context so you do not need to repeat preferences.
• To enforce our terms, monitor safety, and prevent misuse or illegal activities.
• To verify eligibility for teen accounts and apply parental protection rules where applicable.
• To deliver service announcements, security alerts, and customer support responses.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your personal information and chat history for as long as your account remains active. You maintain control over your data directly within the application:

• Memory Management: You can view, edit, or delete specific remembered items or wipe all stored memories at any time via Settings > Memory.
• Chat History: You can clear individual sessions or select "Delete all chats" under Data Controls.
• Account Closure: You can permanently remove your account and all associated data through the "Delete account" option in Settings.

4. Third-Party Services and Infrastructure

We work with trusted infrastructure providers to run our application:

• Cloud & Authentication: We use Firebase (Google LLC) for user authentication, data storage, and message routing.
• Voice Processing: Voice synthesis and transcription utilize specialized speech providers strictly to render audio responses.
• External Search & Data: When you use web search, weather, maps, or finance lookup features, queries are transmitted to respective public APIs without attaching your personal identity.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing campaigns.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage and essential session cookies to remember your login status, active theme (Light/Dark mode), and interface settings. You can manage or disable cookies via your browser settings, though doing so may prevent you from staying signed in.

6. Teen Safety and Parental Controls

Kashish AI requires users to be at least 13 years old. For accounts identified as Teen accounts (users under 18), specific safety restrictions are applied by default. Linked parent/guardian accounts can monitor account status and manage safety parameters in accordance with our Family controls.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no internet transmission is entirely secure, and you share information at your own risk.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes. When updates are published, the "Effective Date" at the top will be revised accordingly.
